Posted July 13, 2010. a thick hose will run from your airbox straight to the throttle body.the hose is actually attatched to the throttle body. you will see the jubilee clip at the bottom (opposite side is the airbox)and the idle control valve is the tiny thing next to it on the left as you look at it.

12850 posts 路 Joined 2008. #2 路 Sep 24, 2008. yes, very easy, all the stuff plugged into the IM comes out easy and there are just the bolts that bolt it to the head. very very simple. like less than an hour on and off!! a 4th grader can do it!! just need basic hand tools!! only 16 - 18 ft/lbs on the bolts to the head when you put it back on

Honestly i never replace the clip on the intake or put anything in place of it. I just slide the hose back on and haven't had any problems from it. hmmm, now i am thinking!
