To begin with my former Golf mk 6 GTI 2.0 TSI had similar sound direct after startup with cold engine. The same sound was there last week when I traded it in to the dealer after 4 years use. I was woundering about the noise in the beginning. Our Golf mk 7 1.4 TSI 122 (manufactured in September 13) has the same noise (mostly cold engine).
The car's coolant system is not 100% free of air, even from the factory. The system is slowly burping itself constantly and will show that in the overflow bottle (over the life of the car). As long as you are not seeking a white film around the connections, liquid coolant seeping or smelling coolant, it's fine.
Thanks, in the mean time I found out as well that there is only one sensor for temps, the one in the oil pan which I replaced (3F907660E). The VCDS belonged to a mechanic and was recent (19.6.2.0), but I have also been told that sometimes it reports false/inaccurate errors which have to be checked by other means/testers.

OK, my final thoughts on this: With the replacement of the original PCV valve at 97,000 miles, I am seeing increased oil pressure measuring right around 40 psi at 207*F oil temperature running at 2500 rpm. Before the replacement, oil pressure was about 27 psi under the same conditions.
The manual for my 1.4 TSI states: "If the engine oil temperature is in the range 80-110 °C, the engine operating temperature is reached. If the oil temperature is lower than 80 °C or above 110 °C, avoid high engine revs, full throttle and high engine loads."
I am told it should be available early September on a 63 plate. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a pdf version of the owners manual is available out-there to try and get an head-start learning all the new tech.
